CrossGroup completes a planning retreat with the Day Resource Center of Fort Worth
The CrossGroup facilitated a day-long session with the Day Resource Center as the nonprofit’s Board developed its organizational objectives and strategies for the future.
The Day Resource Center’s passion is “to be a daytime refuge for the homeless, meeting their basic needs and providing hope and opportunity for those seeking a better life.” They accomplish this mission by offering services to help maintain human dignity such as restroom facilities, showers and laundry services and providing a safe-haven for homeless mothers and their children. The DRC endeavors to meet people where they are. However, by offering a link to other assistance such as addiction counseling, employment services, and medical help through partner agencies, they strive to remove the homeless from their condition as quickly as possible.

CrossGroup Begins Work with Dunaway Associates
The CrossGroup was selected to facilitate a strategic planning process for Dunaway Associates. The plan includes interviews with employees and clients, a cultural analysis of the firm, a study of the organizational structure and a set of Strategic Objectives, Goals and Action Items to guide Dunaway Associates in the future.
Dunaway Associates, a North Texas consulting firm, delivers a full range of civil engineering, planning, landscape architecture and surveying services, from grading and drainage solutions to feasibility studies and master planning.
